Loved this track enough when I first heard it to buy the LP. Cool record. An eclectic mix of soulful house, hip hop and chillout/ambient. 3 or 4 tracks incl that single on there hit me hard. Sundrenched, rootsy, lazy but intricate goodness with world flavors and timelessness. Gotta say I was biased a but though, debuting it on headphones while on a cruise ship, top deck near the pool over the Atlantic, just sublime.

A few others mentioned Mr. Fingers, and I wanted to second that: his track 'Aether' on the Outer Acid EP is excellent. Other recommended artists that approach the house sound: Patricia, Terekke, and Jan Jelinek (his album Loops-Finding-Jazz-Records is great.

Alright!

His hip hop production rules

And the big hit

Sweet picks, so much good music bursts out of that city, Big Strick is (i think) the cousin of Omar S. If yer feeling Andres & Detroit he's a worthy addition.....

Detroit could be a thread in itself, where would you even begin? Nice problem though eh.

Dug the self-titled 3 Chairs lp out making dinner on Sunday, "System Sauce" (Chaka Khan sampled) & "Blackbone Waltz" define sublime:

I don't know too much of Big Strick's stuff, I'll check it out. That 3Chairs lp is a monster. This is like one of the best KDJ tracks ever

edit: woop that's off the first one
