That was funny--except I think I smelled AutoTune, which detracted from the experience.

 

I work with a lot of black youth and I must say that I get annoyed because that "um" you're hearing from them is not being used for its original intention. People say "um" whenever they can't think what to say next or need to stall to collect or filter their thoughts, etc. In the case of the urban usage, they know exactly what they're going to say or what they want to convey but they drag out this huge, "UULLLLLM" usually followed by some cocky statement they knew they were going to say all along.

edit: i just read that he has a speech problem or some shit that makes him stutter like that. in which case the video is still funny but now i just kinda feel bad.
