He was with us for 15 years and was probably around 18 years old as my pops had him before he passed away. There's a ton of pics of him in this thread but we have some favorites. He lived a really good life and his last days were spent with us curled in our laps, having his favorite snacks, he had a nice kitty rave the night before he passed away as well; listening to bangin' techno was one of his favorite things to do.ngs. This will prob sound really weird but we didn’t give him a name per se. He was always The Cat. I guess we could pretend like we named him after Cat from breakfast at tiffany’s but no lol. The little guy from that last pic with him is “Cat 2” lol. We will name future kitties diff but he will always be THE Cat. The stacked ones to the right of those are Athena’s. I’m in the market for something vintage, 70s, that will play nice with my Marantz receiver. If you’re looking 1970s honestly imo look american or canadian in order of preference JBL (looking older than 1970 Altec Lansing, JBL is James B Lansing), Cerwin Vega (have a reputation for being frat boy speakers but honestly if you have excessive clean power they’re outstanding for the price, look for E or AT series the latter being 80s), polk audio has some excellent stuff in the 70/80s range and PSB.
