Been getting back into ambient, and looking for more stuff in this field. Especially in the vein of Steve Roach, Oöphoi, Alio Die, Tetsu Inoue. Ambient with a more "etheric" feeling if you want. Any suggestions?

Here's me: http://soundcloud.com/atop/clown-1

Tim Hecker, Kluster, Fennesz, Klaus Shulze....

not sure if these fellows fit in that category because I only know of Steve Roach's music due to someone telling me I make music that sounds like his....

will check them out!

I'm working on a 2cd ambient album at the moment, i'll post it here for free when I finish it.

in the meantime I've got a couple of ambient albums for you to check out, I dunno if it's quite what you're looking for, but they're free at the very least

Grey Area (Ambient 1)

New Year's Morning (Ambient 2)

Ambient 3 (as Amutm)

one of the tracks for Ambient3 doesn't extract but you can get it here instead

(I made these when I was 16-17, so if you don't like them, it's because I was young and naive)

lol, youre only 18 now aren't you? those halcyon days of 5 months ago.

There was a program on last night about 70's German music that reminded me that I hadnt listened to 'Harmonia' in ages. I pretty much havent had them off all day.
