Guest Calx Sherbet
the way that "Dedicated Loop" starts (before about 30 seconds in), where have i heard that melody/tune before?? i know it sounds like something i'm familiar with, but i can't place it
Guest Calx Sherbet
and i'm almost positive it's an aphex twin song, but don't let that thow you off...

benc812
i know this isn't the answer you may be looking for, but i noticed in my waking haze that the first 30 seconds of 'dedicated loop' (or at least the beginning of the phrase in question) remind me an awful lot of the bass in 'i wish you could talk' in the beginning (starting around 23 seconds or so). and yes i can tell that the two basslines are actually different, but they don't sound too unsimilar, other than the very apparent tempo change. just think they're not totally apples and oranges. here are links to the two clips. please be patient with me, as i am not familiar with sharing things via mediafire yet. dedicated_loop_intro i_wish_you_could_talk_bass
