Seeing them return to win another championship after spending $420,000,000 in the off season is fucking disgusting. at the same time it's an awesome story to see someone like the rays win their division outright while the biggest juggernauts in the sport have an arms race right in their same division. but no real arguments here really. when the seasons starts, i'm a freak, i get the extra innings package, i have a fantasy baseball team, i watch a few games a day, it's great. but by september, when football rolls around, baseball falls COMPLETELY off the map for me. they need to shorten the schedule. football crushes them. i want baseball to succeed. but my football boner stands proud and true for america's real favorite pastime. I just hate that a lot of my favorite teams from childhood will never be good again. E.g. The Pittsburgh Pirates. P.S. - Dude, $420,000,000....it's hilarious.
