Obviously I haven't watch it in about 15 years, but I hear it's still very popular in America and often has big star cameo's. It's sad that it's not on British TV anymore as it's amazing television and undeniably enriched my childhood no end. He was a little past my time and is pretty annoying, but you have to admit that aesthetically he's one of the cutest. I never particularly liked Big Bird either, he was too much about learning and interacting with the human characters. Grover is the fucking shit though. In the South African version of Sesame Street, there is a muppet that has HIV. give it up for Telly (the super anxious muppet), Barkley, Gordon, Mr. Hooper, Snuffy, Maria, Bob, Linda the deaf lady, shit was awesome I remember when Telly Monster first appeared - he was this zombie, always staring at the TV (hence his name), but I guess after they realized that was a bad role model for kids (lol), they just made him uppity.
