I get an american commercial pop hip-hoppy/r&b vibe from a lot of this stuff which I hate. :/

 

agreed. and why would he play that mum remix at 54:00?! sonic diarrhea imho. also that foofy auto-tune stuff....ugh. though i do like the first few tracks right when mike p's set comes on around 43:00.

here's the track between monolith and sciremix :)

 

that does sound alot like afx - that synth is straight off mike and rich.

 

yep. it's either a leftover from the mike&rich sessions (too fast and heavy for the album?) or possibly a track from the caustic window album. but definitely from 93, 94 or so.

that first track (of the shoe not the mix) is so good. then he plays some shit for a while

 

 

there is a lot in the mix that sounds like aphex
