However i've been doing 2CI lately quite intensely (to the extent that a 16mg dose has no more effect on me). As many people, i've noticed you get a 9 volt battery taste in the mouth. However i have it synesthetically : i taste sounds, which could be awesome if it wasn't the same exact battery taste. So what are your Syns hat ? Well, i likely suffer from a hallucinogen persisting perception disorder, which makes me constantly see a kind of "visual snow"(i see dots everywhere). Sometimes one of those dot widen and turns into a more juliaesque shape. A few weeks ago one of those turned into the mandelbrot set (the whole set, that's why i recognized it). Makes me think i've recently had a lucid dream, a long lasting dream. At one point i looked down at my watch, an imaginary watch that i don't actually wear, and i was like "wow this is amazing the brain can render such a high level of details". I like the idea that the world as we perceive is based on hyper-elaborated fractal processes made by the brain. The fact that your visual cortex has a lesser activity when you're seeing fractals patterns (e.g. whilst on drugs) seem to go along with this idea. 3D mandelbrot is still mega cool. I know exactly what you are talking about except for me, distended koch snowflakes seem to map themselves on to treelines and organize the already fractal patterns of branches against a skyline. kaini Posted January 1, 2010 Author Share Posted January 1, 2010 my box lacks the juice to do much zooming :( this thing is munching a 3ghz processor and 3gb ram for breakfast - i tried to install the 64-bit and it gave me an error basically laughing at my crappy integrated ATI gpu. see it's a pixelbender plugin for adobe CS4 and it's supposed to offload to the GPU but it can't. so it's raping the poor cpu instead.
