Halfway through their exit trip, MIB will freak out and scream "we have to go back!" and jump out of the plane. Claire will crash with the plane, and MIB will swim back to the island and hug a boar. Lost fans shouldn't worry though because there will be a new series called 'The island' where jack strives to protect the light, but sadly it will only last 4 seasons. I was under the impression that Desmond is the only one that could drag the smoke monster back into the light to be trapped again, without himself being turned into the smoke monster.
