48khz seems to imply to me that the analords were recorded originally to DAT, what do you guys think?

 

i remember most members here seemed to think they were recorded to analogue tape, which is still possible but 48khz is an odd choice for sampling rate unless you're recording to digital video tape or DAT

Sadly I am on family vacation at the moment so can't smoke a thing right now... do you guys think I should wait to listen until I get back on the 29th? I feel like the experience would be worth it.
