I was expecting a giant letter about the piece and some sort of meaning or story behind it

Ah well.

Managed to fit in a little more shopping, and just got back home from the market with this lot, all for the princely sum of £12

Autechre - Tri Repetae 2xLP

Speedy J - G-Spot 2xLP

The Orb - Blue Room 12"

Ride - Play EP

The Black Hole OST LP

Wishbone Ash - Argus LP

Donna Summer - I Feel Love (original) 12"

..plus two Yamaha VSS-30 sampler keyboards and a DD-10 drum machine. Best £12 I've spent in quite a while.

Tri Repetae and Blue Room, along with a bunch of other stuff I don't recognize, for 12 pounds? Nice load.

how do you not recognise "i feel love"?

kids these days...

but yes, i'm very jealous, where the hell do you do your shopping?

not vinyl but it makes the vinyl complete:

24127_1436086947132_1381721912_1186332_7830139_n.jpg

just out of curiosity, what is inside the inlay?

funny u ask:

I found it quite interesting that the clark track is that old and the plaid and seefeel tracks are that new:

24127_1436107507646_1381721912_1186402_2578114_n.jpg24127_1436107227639_1381721912_1186401_3324566_n.jpg

I had the impression it was the other way round when I listend to them

the rest looks like this:

24127_1436107627649_1381721912_1186403_2501373_n.jpg

24127_1436108227664_1381721912_1186405_616776_n.jpg

24127_1436108547672_1381721912_1186406_3243549_n.jpg

I did buy it basically as mp3s did not make my warp20 complete I wanted the flac / CD tracks and I had the impression something was missing without it

you should get it its really worth it

ahh, looks like it's just got the same information as on the record sleeves, sans the pictures. but i've got the Warp20 poster if i wanna see those!

i dunno, i may get the CD at some point in the future...at the moment i'd rather spend money on vinyl. i already have the tracks. it did puzzle me as to why they changed the track listing around for the CD. it doesn't make sense to me, really.

thanks very much for showing a bit more detail there on the inlay, muchly appreciated.

now, back on topic: i'm starting to run out of space for my records

my next vinyl related purchase is going to have to be a storage thing. i had this in mind

Ah nice

I am still waiting for oversteps from bleep

that's pretty shitty :( i know there's a lot of guys still waiting on it. it does seem like they're having some trouble there, someone's obviously fucked up big time.

i personally fell foul of what i guess to be a cock up when i ordered Four Tet's There Is Love In You - hadn't received it, after two weeks had to get in touch. they sent another one out straight away, but it was a bit annoying. they tried to say that there was more than likely a problem with Royal Mail, but a friend who lives close to me got his on time.

have you had any dialogue with Bleep over it yet?

yeah I did send them 2 emails and 4 replies came back from 2 different persons

one was even about some raster norton cd that had nothing to do with me

lol

I agree on the larger issue with the vinyls as one guy from the forum had the same issue receiving a cd from New Zealand instead of the vinyl which makes totally no sense

the shipping back of the CD did cost me €3 again and I assume they will not even give me some free merch for it ...

well lets see I have not given up yet

hang on, they sent you Oversteps on CD by mistake, and asked you to send it back to them so they can send you the vinyl? hmmm, looks like a policy change has happened...back in the WarpMart days, they'd have let you keep the CD and would've sent you the vinyl as ordered. i would hope they'd at least reimburse you for the cost of posting it back to them.

I looked at the email again and they seem to refund it:

Hi ------

We are very sorry for this error. We are going to look into the New Zealand issue with our shipping company. It is very strange.

Please return this CD to us at the following address, including a print out of this email. We will refund your postage cost from your original order. We are very sorry for any inconvenience.

Bleep Returns

PO Box 25378

London

NW5 1GL

Kind regards

Bleep Support

then there was also this email a day later but I have no idea as I didn't buy it:

Hi there,

I'm afraid that the Raster-Noton CD you ordered from us is out of stock. You have been refunded and the remainder of your order has been shipped. Sincere apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Best regards,

Bleep Support

to be continued

as long as they refunded you the cost of postage, that's alright then. very weird about the mix-up email though

i don't think i should say how much i'm paying for it - you seem to have a knack for finding records at bargain prices, but i need this record so couldn't resist when i saw it at the price i did. it is definitely leaving a dent though!

those storage things are awesome, that 5x5 one is only a little bit more expensive than the one i showed, so the smaller ones would be perfect. quick question though - can you fit Oversteps on there? looks like it might be a tight squeeze to get it in.
