Neurp on Acid

Heres a mix i did in the mid 90s on tape just so i could hear some of my fav Cologne acid in the car.

i was off my face on acid at the time so please forgive a few really bad mistakes

mayday from discogs converted the tapes for me some years ago but i thought the mixing was too shit to let other people hear.

i put it on at Bloc Sunday morning and people were enjoying and asking for a copy.

it was 5 90m tapes and they all flow into each other for nearly 8 hours.

It depends how crazy you like it i guess, it starts fairly ambient and round 120bpm and gets faster all the way to the end i think it peaks at around 200bpm its all very tripped out and analog acid.

I loved these guys back then, nearly every track is Jammin' Unit & Walker

I'd say maybe try the first part and see if it makes you want to carry on.

It was so strange at Bloc, i had no intention of playing this, i always thought the mixing wasnt up to much but when it was on i was getting swamped with requests for a copy, people passing were climbing in the windows to see what it was after a while a girl with a speaker on wheels let us plug it in outside and we had lots of people dancing, i cannot belive we listened to the whole thing.

Had a great time, played very hard caustic acid and techno

Cheers, i wanted to run in to the middle of the floor to hear it really loud,

got the chance to do that before it started, played some Caustic Visions as i didnt think id get time to get to that speed on the night,

was banging out at around 220bpm when a guy with his ipod walked in and looked terrified.

Sorry i've not heard that track =( maybe post it on Discogs?

were you the guy who took my email?

I was so nervous and and deep in concentration it was hard to work out who was coming up and asking stuff

but was pleased with what people said =)

No I was the bald guy in the red t-shirt who danced to your entire set:) I had not realised the BPM had reached such a lofty high. I like to dance to the beat so it was most certainly a good workout :) I was the guy who talked to you for a few minutes after your set.

By the way thanks for listening to the clip. I'll give discogs a try.

oh yeah i remember you, thanks for dancing through ;) the 220bpm stuff was before they opened.

i started around 125bpm and got to around 170bpm when i was asked to make it my last one at 7am, i could have carried on for hours.

i'd love to do it again, i could prolly sort a tracklist if anyone is interested.

i think they were recording it so might be able to get that at one point.
