LOL at Scotch Egg

YES!

I thought he looked familar when I saw him pictured on Warp.net, along with the guy from boredoms. This new album is bound to be interesting if anything else.

Okay, so I've never heard any Seefeel except one track from a video on the Warp Vision DVD,

#1 Can their style be compared to any other musician?

#2 Where should I start?

#1 - Not really, they're maybe post-rock the same way Tortoise, Pram, or Stereolab are...more jazz and krautrock influence. Seefeel is kind of shoegaze and drone sounding as well.

#2 - Quique, it's a bit more diverse and accessible, if you like that you'll probably enjoy the rest of their material. And check out the RDJ remix, of course.

bump for extra appreciation

this music sounds like the faint sounds from a radio that is not fully picking up the FM frequency or church bells far away etc

quique

polyfusia

coctea twins - otherness ep

ch-vox

starethrough ep

In my opinion their warp lp's don't quite reach the magic of the above & I honestly never listen to them. Ch-vox is so much better than Succour...

Finally some love for (CH-VOX).

Love this one as well from an excellent Sub Rosa comp (great video too):

I miss these guys. I was super-pumped to see them live back in 2011 (I had very personal reasons to celebrate around that time, and they were supposed to come to the States (Brooklyn, specifically) for a tour: it would have been perfect for me). But then they cancelled the show, and now I just noticed that they're not on the Warp roster anymore. At least, they're not on the current roster. "Quiqe" is one of my favorite albums ever, and I admired their ideas in the self-titled album. I was really looking forward to more from them. I know I must not be the only WATMMer who is disappointed by their absence.

Yeah I could do with more seefeel definitely. I really rated that last album. There's occasional signs of life from their Fb page and they had a demo track out a recent comp http://audioscope.bandcamp.com/album/music-for-a-good-home-3 but no sign of anything major coming up sadly.

Is It Now? from i forget what comp and the Quique redux (track 2 disc 2) is one of the most gorgeous pieces of music i'll ever hear.
