Hi there, i'm still an aphex noob, so I apologise for this *awaits bashing of sarcastic comments*.

What I was wondering was;

1) if there was any difference between these two copies (other than price)? http://www.cdwow.co.nz/CD/aphex-twin-drukqs/dp/40179#bc=0ff4 and http://www.cdwow.co.nz/CD/aphex-twin-drukqs-pa/dp/1729#bc=0ff4

2) Is it just me, or is it not possible to download tracks on the druqks website anymore? I wouldn't be suprised considering it was released 9 years ago...

3) Are there any different versions of the CD release? I was looking at buying it second hand from New Zealands version of trademe (i'm a tight arse student).

thanks in advance...

1) dunno what that more expensive one is, go for the cheaper one....certainly will be no difference in the tracklist

2) no don't think so. don't know if you ever could download whole tracks

3) dunno

Does anyone have the Japanese release?

I could have sworn I saw it at the old Virgin Megastore in Times Square and it had an extra track. I never bought it because it was $35 dollars or something lake that.

according to Discogs, it's the same 30-track album that we all know :trashbear:

I got the vinyl mammoth box thing from Probe in Liverpool on the release day, and I swear either they or HMV claimed there was an extra track on the vinyl. There wasn't in the end, the vinyl just had Penty Harmonium which was a different title for Petiatil Cx Htdui or something else (I forget now if it was that track, I'm old, it was a long time ago and this subforum has made me a little bored of Aphex Twin).

Lovely.

Is there any variation in the packaging?

between what?

The CD package is the same all over the world as far as I know, except maybe for one of those japanese card things for the japanese release.

The standard vinyl pressing is in a 12" x 17" box.

The limited edition virgin vinyl pressing is in a 12" x 17" box too.

Weirdly, the box for the standard version is sturdier than the limited edition one.
