hey guys

just looking to get some feedback on my bands first 2 singles from our upcoming album :)

 

re:enactment - nintendogs

re:enactment - problematic

 

we went and mixed these in sydney with bourke reid (pvt) and just got them back from mastering! interested to get some opinions seen as i was kinda hoping to send them to warp to see if they would be keen... anyway, hope you enjoy :)

nintendogs was decent, only complaint is that the singer doesn't seem connected to the music.

 

problematic: for me the lyrics seemed a bit empty, as did the music. the personality of the vocals is a little annoying, like he wanted to compensate for the minimal music.

 

while it's well done in many ways, it all seems like it's targeted at some broader audience, rather than it being an honest reflection of the artists' personalities.

 

it is nice to see a band format sharing music here, so i look forward to future experiments from you fellows.
