very global goonish, i love the first synth sound but there ain't enough happening for me. i confess i tend to like my idm hyperactive so it's probably just me :)

It seems I need to work on my EQing and loudness. Does anyone have any tips for getting things to sound louder? This is peaking at 0 with the aid of master bus compression. I tried to keep a clean gain-stage while mixing. Does this all come down to EQ? I don't want to over-compress my mix!
