Worse than a wildfire and the chemo. options available are beyond your wildest nightmares: nitrogen mustards, platinum-containing agents, shit that does horrific organ damage--makes you deaf, ruins your liver and kidneys, causes you to develop leukemia. There are a few cancers--osteosarcoma, lymphoma and hepatocarcinoma--for which if I am diagnosed, I will doctor-shop until one is willing to give me a liter of liquid morphine to go have a great party with friends and family and then never wake up.
