jules Posted September 30, 2010 Share Posted September 30, 2010 Next week, Tri-Angle Records will be releasing the debut self-titled EP from San Francisco's oOoOO. People are calling this witch house, but we're still not quite sure that term actually means anything, so let us say that the music is spooky, driven by lo-fi synths and drum machines, and usually features some awfully pretty vocals of the ethereal/ghostly variety. Comparisons to current XLR8R cover stars Salem are frequent, and oOoOO does tread in some similarly dark sonic territory, but the sounds here are a lot cleaner and more melodic.
