“some of the best production I’ve heard in recent times.” Amon Tobin

“Dark, moody and quite magnificent, prepare to have your ears cranked open by Eskmo’s innovative individualism.” DJ Mag

“Eskmo drops a massive bass rolling workout. Simply destroys the soundsystem.” URB

Eskmo is a San Francisco based electronic music producer and live performer. His multi-genre compositions have been featured on influential labels like Warp Records, Ninja Tune and Planet Mu. While Eskmo's tracks encompass a wide range of electronic styles, he avoids classifications.

In the past five years Eskmo has released over a dozen singles and EPs. His self released Hypercolor was featured on the Mary Anne Hobbs‘ BBC Radio1 show and was presented by Bleep as one of the top 100 tracks of 2009 in their catalog.

Soon after his remix of Warp’s Bibio was featured in Pitchfork, he was asked by Flying Lotus to perform at the Brainfeeder Sessions in LA alongside Nosaj Thing. Angelides has since joined forces with Amon Tobin in a collaborative music project called “Eskamon” that highlights their love of field recoding and unique take on sound manipulation.

This show is the culmination of his worldwide tour to promote his self titled album on Ninja Tunes. Already a hugely respected producer and live performer amongst his peers, 2010 is the year that will surely catapult Ekmo to global recognition.

Groundbreaking producer and Planet Mu label boss Mike Paradinas is a man who should need little introduction.

He began operating under the name µ-ziq in 1992 with his early recordings first emerging on the Rephlex record label.

As a producer Mike released his experimental and far reaching music under several pseudonyms and collaborated with contepories such as Aphex Twin (as Mike and Rich) and Luke Vibert.

In 1995, Paradinas decided to launch his own record label imprint, Planet Mu, to give voice to other creative electronic artists. Over the last decade and a half this label has established itself as one of the most important platforms for innovative and experimental music.

Mike has for a long time taken a back seat in both production and performance but we’re very happy to confirm an exclusive µ-Ziq dj set at this very special event.

"I should be playing this on the radio!....hook a brother up?" Eddy Temple Morris

Baconhead is the amazing new project from Ben ‘Ebola’ Hudson and Paul ‘Autobee’ Bowyer. They make Sci-fi beats to confuse your brain. They released their debut ep 'Soap' on Acroplane Recordings to massive acclaim. This is their Bristol debut and its gonna blow you away!

Gareth Clarke

An ex-Sublight talent discovered by none other than Mr Aaron Funk (aka Venetian Snares) and counting such luminaries as Richard Devine, Kid606, Wisp and Phoenecia as ardent fans, Gareth Clarke’s lush, sophisticated melodies intertwine with clean, crisp post-jungle beats for the perfect pleasure amalgam for body and brain.
