So I wrote an 18 page marketing essay and realized that there is a 10-page limit (LAME): any tips on cutting out 10 pages?

If you have written that much, get all the best shit down, cut out the jabber, get straight and concisely to the point and you will have a bang on essay. Bit obvious that i know...

change font size to 9 or 10 instead of 12, use a font with a tight kerning, reduce the line spacing to .9 or .8 instead of 1, and then after youve done all that start cutting out the actual fat line by line. maybe theres a whole part of your paper you don't need?

I usually have the opposite problem. I am always trying to bullshit my way through a 2 page essay into a 10 page essay.

when pack suitcase, pants can be exchanged for 3 pair sock approx. or one pair shortz plus 1 pair sock approx. you figure out the weather where you're headed, put in the important things first. then maybe take this out and exchange it for 2.4 of that, etc. until suitcase is optimized. hand in to airport for grade.

also, as a historian im not sure how similar the writing style is to marketing, but if you use quotes, cut those out if they aren't crucial to the message, just use a brief citation or reference to the author to cover in case of plagarism

im in the midst of writing a 15-20 pger myself...im gettin nervous about actually meeting the requirements.

hahaha, i picked a particularly rough topic and ended up sorta shooting myself in the foot...its for a womens history class.

Basically im analyzing Foucault's History of Sexuality as to how "historiographical" it actually is, and why parts of it are adopted/debated amongst feminist theorists. THe biggest problem with the project was I quickly realized that two out of the three volumes were essentially worthless, and I "over sourced" material..im wading through 20 books and around ten articles..
