googling people you know

i have let a few good friends slip away and sometimes i google their names to see what they're up to...

one girl i knew and cared for went on to be very successful at university and is now a published writer

probably you all are mostly good about keeping up with old friends and continuing relationships but...

is there anyone you use the internet to check up on once in a while? an old schoolmate or somebody?

i would try to reach out to malwina but she never really felt the same way about me as i felt about her

so i don't wanna really intrude on her life... it's nearly as satisfying remotely just to know she's well

ive googled almost everyone Ive known..Facebook quenched my thrist for most people. but once in a while ill google someone that stole my girl or an old friend that doesn't have a FB. Most everyone is doing better than me financially. My first girl. The one that took my virginity is extremely successful as a computer programmer for banks. I never knew she was that smart.

i have an old navy friend that i lost contact with back in the mid 90s. i googled his name a few times but his name is pretty common... billy moore!

ive readded people on FB 3 times now because Ive struggled with various ways of either deleteing my account or downsizing my friends to the bare minimum. Over all its been a good experience. Right now Im adding everyone I can find ..It makes me (an introvert) feel a bit naked having people watch me and I have to watch it cause real life can overlap with FB in bad ways. ie,, its easy to stick your foot in it on FB

i found the korean girl who broke my heart when i was about 20 years old... she's in her 40s now and still lookin' good. has a daughter, but i'm not going to send her any messages.

I haven't done this to people I know/knew. I think I've googled a couple of people from here to find their music and whatnot(ie art/photography/blogs). I haven't wanked to anyones pictures yet.

I don't think I've ever found anything about local nobodies with google. Names are too common

Two friends of mine inserted me in wikipedia (and so did I), so i'm pretty ok : if you try to search for my name on google, it'll just bring up a certain wikipedia page as well as a couple translations of it.

I do check google on regular occasions though, just to be sure our bullshits are still in wikipedia. And i've been quite regularly stalking this girl too. I even consider it to be some kind of art : i'm just trying to find a few pics of her, but parallely(PARALLELY), i've recently accomplished an important breakthrough : i know what's her mother's name, so i'm just an information away from "cracking" her hotmail's secret question. This is some serious business. I've been working on it for 4 years, yo.

i used to know this girl, who's now the bbc political correspondant. hard to believe but she used to be pretty fit.

there's a young tennis player with my name so I'm safe from google as far as I can tell

My face isn't in the first 30 pages or so, there's 83 pages of stuff and I only appear once.

My name is pretty uncommon so needless to say when you google my name the first 5 articles are my facebook page, a bebo (that has been deleted to it a 404) and 2 other newspaper articles about me.

Its going to be really really easy to get info on me FML

i was under the impression that i was fairly safe from this (weirdly spelled first name but pretty generic last name) but shit, my facebook page is the first hit. i mean, it's private, but uh right now my profile pic says CUNT FACE. i should probably change that, i have some job apps out lol. apparently there is someone else with my exact name who travels a lot. but not like, interesting trips. aspen colorado to biloxi mississippi. wheee.
