Its back.

Tickets on sale in January, new venue, reduced capacity, back to its roots...

Here's hoping they can rebound perfectly from the disasterous cancellation earlier this year.

5 years in a row for me 2005-2009, what an amazing festival.

I had a good time in 2005 and 2006, became a victim of the flood in 2007 which completely ruined it for me. I'm completely over festivals and camping to be honest, just not my idea of fun.

The biblical flood year was amazing :emotawesomepm9: So many good memories from the trenches....

Just booked a couple of tickets, we shall probably be getting one of those fancy bell tents this year which we had booked for the ill-fated 2010.

Now all I need to do is sort out bloc, and 2011 is shaping up nicely...

You got tickets already?

I'd like to go but something about it makes me nervous, this might as well be a new festival in many ways. I went to all the others but I'm just wondering if they will get good acts, if the venue will be any good, if there will be daft noise restrictions or police presence etc. Many risks.

Definitely can't be arsed Glade which is a real shame cause i've made some great friends, but wasn't too keen in Mattersley Bowl, solo train travel, shit drugs etc

It would be a shame if one bad experience put you off a festival though.

I'm dying to go to this but circumstances are not looking good

I'd give my right arm to go to Glade if only just once, but none of my friends have the slightest interest in this 'sort of thing'.

Its not at the bowl anymore. More details announced in february so give it a chance :flower:

I'm sorry world but I cannot afford to go to BLOC + Bangface AND Glade on top of those two.

Glade next time though, I didn't know it shut down, glad to see it's back :) (can't do any harm to have another good festival kicking about)

ditto - the flood fucked me up too although i stayed for the whole festival and still had as good a time as i could. cannot be fucked with festivals any more though - not unless i've got a winnebago and guaranteed sunshine.

yeah, my then-girlfriend and i didn't have any dry or clean clothes, or any money or anything really, so we left early under a cloud. and then broke up. also it wiped out my copy of "origin of species" so i didn't even have anything to read on the frosty train journey home. lol.

I'm not buying a ticket for a festival without a line up. What if it was just psytrance?

In 2004 the line-up was pretty much kept secret right until the festival started, but it included Plaid, Aphex, Squarepusher, Cylob, Ceephax etc... Every year the glade lineup has been eclectic and stunning, so I cannot see why 2011 would be any different.

Sure there will be psy-trance, but equally Overkill and Breaksday hold an equal part of the festival following.

looks like I'm working the bar for a ticket. 2 x 7 hour shifts didn't seem too bad

Nice one, hope you get thursday night so you only have to work 1 shift for when the festival kicks off proper

No I chose already, no Thursday ones were listed. I was there as soon as the shifts were posted up so maybe the bars wont be open until Friday? Anyway I'm doing 11.30am-7pm on Friday and 6.30pm-1am on Sunday, I figured I can cane it on the two main nights that way

*bump*

Stuck full line up to date in the first post, will try and keep it updated as news is released.

Overkill lineup now looks pretty damn sexy!

Richard Devine is no longer playing, but Africa Hitech are playing instead which should be pretty interested.

Anyone else got tickets? Not many left apparently.
