Alright guys, I want to get back into having a website. What are your recommendations?

 

Good hosting?

Server software?

Layout?

 

 

Probably the cheaper and easier, the better.

Oh, just for my music and whatnot. Probably a blog, bio, and links to my music and whatever else essentially.

I'd be interested to know people's recommendations as well. I'm currently looking into designing a minimal website, and so far, my research has concluded that 1and1 is quite cheap for domain registration, and use Joomla for designing the website. Still not 100% sure though.
