Be grateful that you're in a job that allows you to play on the internet instead of doing something a bit more manual (n.b., I was working Xmas Eve and Day and will be back in work tomorrow).

the worst is that we had a skeleton holiday cause christmas was on saturday, and yesterday everyone got the day off cause of snow, so everyone who got friday off got two days off, and everyone who worked friday only got one. i bitched and moaned to my boss so he is letting me leave early today at least. :gamer:

i've been off since christmas eve and i'm not back in until the 7th. it's the longest period of free time i've had since last february... and it feels good!

stuck at work indeed.. though i've noticed time seems to fly the more tired you are. it kind of works out.

I should be stuck at work today but I'm . . . "sick"

This is my first day back at work after an 8 day vacation (my first real vacation in 3 years).

Obviously not happy to be back. All of the perspective and time to think that I had on vacation is gone, and in back in the routine of work.

I am now 100% committed to finding a new job. I'm not going to continue this shit.

I've just got to work for my pointless two-day stint between Christmas and New Year's. This week should really be a national holiday, who really gets anything done or gives a shit?

After a week off I too felt very melancholy on the way to work; deliberating whether a life of vagrancy or posh-hippified farmerism was really a tangible alternative. I have probably 30+ years of continuous working until I can lounge about all day without a care again, isn't that fucking sickening? There's something wrong with the world, I swear. Of course I want some of that fancy new technology, but there must be a better way to get money whilst having the time to play.

So yeah, I'm also looking for new jobs.

I am sitting at a desk listening to Radio 2 waiting for 4pm. I'm really not enjoying this. Can't wait for my ham salad at lunch. That's how bored I am.

I think I've overplayed chain factor. Ok, just once more then.

I too, am listening to Radio 2 and waiting for lunch. LOL.

i'll keep my ear to the ground... remember, you can crash on my sofa for as long as you need to find a place if you manage to get a job in London
