Ah ha ha!! 600 green queen heads? Your having a bubble?

I managed to get one from an ad I put on Sound on Sound's reader ads. Paid £199 for it

I saw one go for ~300GBP recently.

I saw 2 go on ebay in the last week. 1 in the uk had a starting bid of £295 & that's what it sold for. One in the States whent for just £134 but the shipping to the UK was another $80 I think. They go for all sorts of prices. My one works a treat but is not in the best cosmetic condition hence the price. I was thinking of having it refurbished but I'm not sure how much it would cost. Would be nice to get the case fixed, keys cleaned, sliders & pots cleaned etc. Would like to try it myslf but I wouldn't know where to start beyond giving it a wipe over with a duster!!

Great little synth though. I just love the sound from these old string synths. I've tried to emulate it on other synths/software but it's hard to get it right. I noticed last night when running the RS-09 through a tuner that the ensemble effect causes the tuning to drift in & out slightly over a few seconds. But if you try a similar thing by adding a slow LFO to the oscillator it just doesn't sound the same. It looks uniform but it doesn't sound like this at all. Definitely something special about the old things.
