vamos scorcho Posted May 29, 2011 Share Posted May 29, 2011 I don't visit Reddit but I've heard it described as Youtube video comments without the videos. it's worse in a way i've been on there for a long time and it has been interesting to see it go from being an intellectual/interesting gathering of people to being Digg 2.0 on a larger scale i got mad for a while then i figured out i could turn off all the 'main' stuff [wtf, funny, etc] and i just go to the more interesting stuff. i might miss out on 'Jessica Black' type shit but ... it's probably for the best at this point. the 'cultural memes' have managed to come at such a quick rate as to take on the sort of characteristics of a giant avant garde TV show. you know what the characters are going to say, what's going to happen, before it happens. i think my signature sums up my opinion on our culture Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
