Outdoors, sunshine, summer etc.

Yep, second one is very cool. I did more nature-y shots when I was starting out, but didn't feel like I could do them well, so I've concentrated more on the urban stuff.

I see you also don't like using the lens hood either!

Nope, I like lens flare etc. :D

What're shooting with? I've found that with my lenses, even shooting direct into the sun, it's difficult to get flare and contrast fades. Bonus in one respect, but not if that's the kind of aesthetic I'm going for.

I think I'm gonna have to get some vintage glass and an adapter mount...

Well these ones I just used my phone, I've had some nice photos on my DSLR but don't always have it with me.

I'm one of those weirdos that carries their camera everywhere. Luckily I'm mirrorless though, so it's a bit easier.

You could put some Vaseline on the lens for that extra 70s look, and not be concerned about gunking up your mail lenses!

I've tried the old lens Vaseline trick before and yes its interesting but I prefer just using natural light and angles to create in camera effects. The result I got made everything look like it was from a 70s porno/ Top of the Pops. Lol!

There's a lens/cap for mine that can only be gotten in Japan, that has a fun starburst crosshatch lens.

Definitely want one to play with. Also kinda want a lomo Art lens. But I could probably get a similar effect with some esoteric and way cheaper vintage lens. I need to do more research into adapters for Fujifilm X mount

Lomo stuff is pretty cool. Was tempted to get one of the cameras but haven't just yet. I like to try and shoot as close to my internal experience as possible. This can sometimes prove incredibly difficult especially with night shots. I'd like to do some long exposure night shots in London at some point. I've seen it used to great effect in city scapes and have a bit if a thing for the "river of light" type phenomenon created. Definitely next on my list of techniques to attempt.

What! You don't always have your camera on you? For shame.
