Unknown Aphex track (Singapore, Dublin, Sonar) solved

Cannibal from Xltronic messageboard has solved the mystery track that Aphex has been dropping for his last three shows its by Mark Broom called Twenty Nine Black Mix.

hehe this track was a huge hit around 2006-2007 and has become a classic since :) that's why we instantly spotted it when aphex twin played it @ sonar.. wicked set!!

nah, not rich.... though heavily influenced by him no doubt.

 

I really don't see how this track must have been heavily influenced by RDJ - in retrospect. The contrary would be just as likely, imo (track was not influenced by afx at all).

 

Like every unknown track in his DJ sets. I'm sure there are lots of other supposedly Richard tracks which are not by him at all, but sounded that way. All good unknown tracks which mix well with other AFX tracks, tend to sound like "unknown afx" tracks. Not because these tracks were heavily influenced by AFX, but because of track selection and placement in the mix.

 

RDJ deserves more credit as a DJ.
