Guest yikes Posted June 24, 2011 Share Posted June 24, 2011 first of all eksman and remarc are mixed race dudes who refer to most of his friends as niggas as evidenced on the shout outs on the back of the planet mu lps i don't know of many white boys who will do that unless they have some black blood in dem secondly i am saying that using dancehall vocals and soundtrack bites are part of sample/cut and paste hip hop /breakbeat culture and the use of said chopped vox are a trope and finally his editing,time stretching and chopping of any type of vocal is just as clever as his drum programming but hey vasio is entitled to hate any remarc tune he wants including the ones w/ vocals its all pretty personal and everyone has their own opinion i like the vocals but i like dancehall so to me its a triple double nam sayin? (and I've been listening to the updated stuff like Benny Page a lot this year - quality) I just don't get what being white has to do with enjoyment of jungle/drum'n'bass?
