Groove Collective, other artists sometimes labeled as "acid jazz". I add this to my list of favorites, which is now: Dolphy - out there dolphy - out to lunch (outward bound as well) cecil taylor - jazz advance miles davis - esp, miles smiles, kind of blue sun ra - future sounds pharoah sanders - karma coltrane - giant steps, love, meditation, interstellar space, (ascension, lesser so) schlippenbach - pakistani pomade that's just off the top of my head.
