so a buddy of mine is celebrating his 32nd birthday in london visiting friends and as it turns out i'm going to be there as well coming off a wedding in oxford the night before. anything good going that sunday or monday night, club or otherwise-wise?

i know its less likely the odd days and whatever but just in case  it would be great to join any area watmm'ers for a pint of course! (i don't yet know where we're staying, actually haven't even booked it for those two days so could also use a bit of help there  )

trip planning.

Fabric run a tech house night on sundays called wetyourself, might be worth a look they usually get some good guests in (no listings for august online yet though).

There wont be anything to do in Oxford on sunday or monday night. Its out of university term time for a start.

Fuse do a good day/evening tech house thing every Sunday at East Village in Brick Lane. It's brilliant if you get in. You'll be fine but they're very cuntish about letting English people in.

Berwick St. in Soho (Tottenham Court Road/Leicester Square/Oxford Circus tube) is good for record shops, including a branch of the awesome Music & Video Exchange for second-hand gems. I think M&VE have a special shop just for dance/electronic music too, somewhere near Notting Hill - but I could be mistaken cause frankly I don't buy much of that stuff any more.

I haven't seen anything in particular on those dates. Brick Lane is good on Sundays so I'd probably head there and just wander about.

thanks guys, how's east village for a club? there's a (small, seems) soul/funk/boogie/disco night there on that sunday which would play well for my fellow travelers, so i'm thinking that might be good.
