My word, that extract (I hope it's an extract anyway !) of Galaxy Mesmer is just incredible. That's probably the first new thing I've heard from Devine in, what, 6 years...

That remix is great as well. It seems as if over the last few years he's mellowed out a tad and melodic elements are becoming more a focus in the tracks.

(either that or they deliberately picked more accessible tracks so as to not freak out the uninitiated to his works)

RD has the coolest day job, but I am looking forward to some new tracks!

That Galaxy Mesmer track has this description: "Short demo of 10 sounds I created for the new Spectrasonics "Moog Tribute Library". All created with Omnisphere. No post processing or other effects used. "

New EP coming in November. Seems like it could be a nice change in direction, a bit more playful judging by the preview track Sinscur.

Just wanted to share one of my favorite new discoveries of the past couple months.  This guy clearly has the IDM chops to make some intricate, beat driven, abrasive tunes.  My speakers are hurting right now.

The igloomag review puts it in better words than I can.
