Those beats are dope, sounds like whoever made them were on a steady diet of early 90s nyc boom bap. I cannot understand French but it’s cool to listen to, can focus solely on the flows (which sound great) without getting distracted by the meaning.

Yes, in 99 and early 00's french rap was still very much influenced by NYC stuff, mainly Mobb Deep !
