here's the carpet in my livingroom

so i was cleaning the house and vacuuming and stuff, and i looked under the carpet for the first time in a couple of weeks (or something), and it was stuck to the floor, so i grabbed it with

both hands and pulled it back, and it had literally melted into the floor boards!

what the shit??

has anyone ever experienced this? i don't have heated floors or anything, and the weather hasn't really been that hot this summer, so i really don't understand how this could've happened.

the melted plastic won't come off the floor either. it doesn't smell though which i guess is a good thing, but if it did i would've noticed it sooner. maaaaaan

Problem solved.

You're welcome.

It's time to start acting like an adult.

:cerious:

that's what the previously not melting plastic was for, anti-slip. but i guess the adult thing to do would've been to get an extra anti-slip rug just incase the rug fucking melts.
