And then the worst ever:-

:wtf:

I fucking love Parma Violets, used to eat tons of them as a kid. That's probably because of the

rule though, if I buy anything else my room mates end up eating the lot. However nobody's gonna ask if they can have a viola flavoured sweet that tastes more like soap than anything.

I love these.

When I lived in Vancouver, they had chocolate flavoured Skittles. Basically different types of chocolate flavours recreated. Overall they were pretty nasty, but the Smores one was pretty good.

what is going on here?

What's going on here is the master stroke of candy. It's not sugar that coats them like candlestickmaker suggested. It's an ass-kicking mixture of crystalline citric, tartaric and malic acid and my desktop is covered in drool just just talking about it. A true Pavlovian response. The coating that rapes Essines' mouth. It's so fucking awesome--like 5th gear Skittles.

sweet jesus!

Skittles is the home of new and exciting ways to induce diabetes. I just tried a pack of these:

fizzy-skittles.jpg

From what I can tell based on the ingredients, the inside has a serious shot of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and a coating of sodium bicarbonate on the outside. When the 2 meet during crushing on the molars, a weird foam develops and spreads the flavors all around your mouth. Think bubbles of hydrogen peroxide on a wound--about that volume of fizz. Hot shit! There is a draw back though. I ate too many in one sitting and when I stood up, a deep and low belch rattled out from all that bicarb. hitting the stomach :emotawesomepm9:

i hate those damn things, they taste like they have been coated in baking soda and they make your mouth foam up like you have rabies.

these on the other hand are muy delicioso:

just look at this flavor lineup:

1. mango & peach

2. blue rasberry & lemon

3. melon berry

4. strawberry watermelon

5. cherry lemonade

i've had a serious hankering for these lately, but haven't seen them around:

the original dots are amazing too, especially the green ones.

Can you still get Nerds in the UK? I've only seen them while browsing those shops that sell American/novelty stuff for ridiculous prices. Wallet stays firmly in pocket.

Any hard candy here is called a boiled lolly.

I was assuming Keltoi was referring to a lollipop, as they are known as lolly for short in the UK, right?

yeah lollies have a stick. sweets are all manner of sweets, boiled or chewy or whatever and have no stick, and are not called lollies here.

Its just a blanket term here. I bit like "Chips". They're not all chips, but it's the generic term. Like "Crisps" for you guys. (wtf, by the way...crisps...) :P

They were amazing. I think they were stopped because they had fuck loads of E### inside. No word of a lie, they used to make my brother go crazy when we were younger.

You can get them in specialist little shops which is good. But it's always in the shops that has so many differnt colourful things that you never end up buying them.
