Yeah, I'm more concerned about the Hoverboards, I would spend the $300 on Mcfly's shoes if weren't for the millions of hipsters I'm going to see wearing them.

Exciting, but they'll cost WAY too much to actually be worth buying/wearing, and they'll probably be in limited supply so the prices will only get worse.

i wonder how durable these will be... and will they be battery powered, or what?

bet they all break after a couple of months... and you can't wear them out when it's raining.

then you'll have a $300 pair of trainers that you can't lace up. and then that will become the next daft hipster style; wearing your McFly Nikey MAG's undone... and dragging your feet like some futuristic neandathal retard with a few circuits loose in their bionic implants.

i want a pair. they're well IDM :emotawesomepm9:

1500 pairs of the 2011 NIKE MAG will be auctioned on eBay with all net proceeds going directly to The Michael J. Fox Foundation. Each day for the duration of the ten-day auction, one hundred and fifty pairs of the 2011 NIKE MAG shoes will be made available via eBay’s Fashion Vault. The auction starts September 8, 8:30PM PST, and will end September 18. Thanks to a previous 50 million dollar match given to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, all donations will be matched, effectively doubling the contributions from the auction.

So are there more than 1500 pairs or are they going to keep making them? If there's only a limited supply, this shit will get super expensive.

They don't have power laces?

"Considering that Nike patented the Mag's automatic lacing system in 2010, the future may arrive sooner than we think."

no they don't have power-laces.

no mention of power laces, no video demonstration. nothing.
