So, i was listening to Drukqs and then this got on:

I know BoC has a lot of those melodies, but most of them doesn't quite fit in with what i'm looking for,

 

And i was thinking, songs that reminds me of small harbors are very harmonic, it's often the melancholic melody that takes me to those places.

 

One excellent view is the movie "The City of Lost Children" and that has all those small places near the water, it's so surreal and melancholic! I Love it!

 

I also have been listening to Loscil a lot lately and he has excellent tracks that reminds me of the same thing.

 

so post your songs that you thing remind you of the same thing and let's see if we can get a post with those dark harmonic songs.

 

If you can find anything that sounds what i mean that is.

Excellent choise takeshi!

 

I'm really interested in Ceephax but i never had the energy to scout through his music, i only have like 1 record, and it's all acid and i'm more into the idm/ambient stuff.

Cubus - Masumoto city

To me that one always sounded more like ancient ruins, but now that I think about it that guitar track from the last album (Don Spaghet I believe) sounds kinda like something that would be played in a falling-apart shack by the ocean.
