Exact same where I work as well (Co-op), it amazes me that a third of a whole year is wasted on marketing for one day. I'm going to Mulletover for fancy dress on halloween and need something good. Last year a few people I know went as umpa lumpas, which did look good, but I need something original and fucking cool. Lol, so all there decorations will look old and tatty by the time the actual day come around. And on top of that to the local viewer their decorations will look passé.
