not so excited by jacaszek before 'treny', he must have had some creative revelation because the change in the quality of his sound is astounding. 'treny' and 'pentral'

make a perfectly fitting pair and have both been listened to quite a bit over here, as is also true with his 'resident advisor' release. really beautiful!

I think this might be a case of samples not telling the whole story. There are moments in those samples that are sheer brilliance, and other that sound like they might work given the context of the whole album. I think I'll be purchasing this, :)

I just learned of this guy from a Ghostly newsletter... wow! I already listened to the full stream of Treny online twice and I'll probably buy it. Excited for this new album as well :)

I only wish Ghostly vinyl releases weren't so expensive, especially if you want to get the Ghostly shop exclusive versions and get them into the UK. :(

 

Nevertheless, this sounded so good I pre-ordered the gold vinyl edition from them.

Really enjoying this. Have to say after Treny I was a bit dissapionted with the albums that followed, but Glimmer is an excellent return to form.

For anyone who is enjoying this well worth seeking out Treny as well :)
