You definitely misconstrued my comment, placed your own subjective meaning onto what I actually meant, and then later accused me of starting some dick measuring contest when it was actually you who started it by bringing up Android where it wasn't even relevant. Now to address your other points... "How many windows users are going to know anything about fastboot?" - How many iPhone users are going to know anything about DFU Mode, editing the hosts file, clicking on the 'Restore' button with a particular key combination, the program TinyUmbrella? That is what Googling is for, as you so eloquently put. Yes you have to download an SDK. But don't you have to download stuff to do the iPhone downgrade? (trick question, the answer is yes). My initial post was - of course you can downgrade. you replied to that with the "ballache" post. It's not difficult, you're the one who's projecting. Again it's not jumping to conclusions, it's a logical association to make. Premise the opposite of "ballache number of steps" is "an easier number of steps".
