I always wanted to create a very complex 2-d adventure with the beautiful look of "Baphomets Fluch" (that's German, no idea how it is called in English...) but a way more clever and non-linear story... if anyone wants to help with programming and stuff, I would sit down and start writing

so ... I read that link, the features, then half of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adventure_game and now I want to know what would be the adventure game equivalent of Autechre + Gaarg says so I can take a look and see if this is something I want to play?

For some reason the OsX version of the Adventure Games Studio is not online, I will have to check out the software on a very very old notebook which crashes all the time.
