Yeah, sure we could break any game you like down to its most basic components though. Mario - Guy runs around jumping on platforms. Halo - Guy runs around shooting aleins. Pretty cool guy. Guest bitroast Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 the leap from city bound environment to city+countryside with san andreas was just amazing, at the time. gta 4 removed the country but made up for it with its improved combat and gameplay mechanics. red dead redemption combined the two by creating this completely open totally immersive green and gold country side that was held together by fun guns blazin' driven missions. red dead redemption completely won me over and was a 10/10 game for me :):) i have absolutely no idea what i want from another gta game. i guess the trailer will have to do a little more than just tease to actually have me proper interested/excited. i would appreciate a little more colours than just brown and grey. Oh snap. 1920s has been done to death. 50s would just feel like LA Noire with more violence. Vegas has been done in various similar games, right? Uh, I don't know where else. Going back to Florida would make a Scarface storyline too obvious. And they've done LA in San Andreas and LA Noire. That logo doesn't make it seem likely, but I want it back in Europe. I don't think they would go that far back, not enough cool cars. '70s could be cool, there's enough music to fill the radio stations. Some say its during the 90's, during the rampart scandal etc. Either way I'll prolly buy it once it comes out, and never finish it after they demand me to kill one of two people I like, or get to some mission where I don't feel comfortable cheating my way through. Another big fucking mountain that the police can chase me up on a motorcycle only for me to fly off the highest point with a parachute attached to my back.
