What does English sound like

i remember back when i was like 6, i used to speak fake american english all the time and it sounded pretty much exactly like that. i even managed to trick a friend of mine into thinking i was fluent in english by speaking like that.

my ex thought british guys were hot cause of their accent i was like thats pretty gay

unfortunately, your ex is either right, or is a man, in which case

 

but watching that short film, i realize that american english is pretty clumsy-sounding.

some say spoken swedish sounds like singing. i can't hear it though.

 

here's a speech by our 1970/80's prime minister, sort of our ronald reagan, only he was a socialist (and murdered!).

 

 

the muppets swedish chef is awesome but not even close.

i love speaking fake french....i just string together a ton of vowels and stretch them out as long as i can.

nice. when i was a kid a convinced another kid i was hungarian but i don't think i'd ever heard hungarian.

It so much depends on the accent. American english sounds like drunken farmer's talk, british mostly like super snob talk, Australian sounds like a paranoid extremist is having a perpetual bladder crisis.

 

As a Slavic I suspect we are heard even funnier than english folks.
