I'm still not physically mature enough to grow a beard or mustache but I do have to shave because I get a lot of silly hairs on my chin and upper lip. I have a lot of pubes though. Kinda hairy legs. No chest hair. Armpit hair in only one armpit.

I had a fairly intense waking fantasy of smashing her head in with one of her neon coloured objects while watching that

its fucked up that young women need to see commercials about how ugly parts of their body are, and that its "natural" to fear body hair when it starts growing.

i tried to have a conversation once with some women about body hair removal (arm pits i believe) and they weren't open to the idea that it was okay not to shave, revolted even. suspicion followed, as if they thought i brought it up to prepare them to meet my werewolf girlfriend. it was all very weird. one particular peeve is arm shaving. not that there's anything wrong with it, but it's so prevalent around here, i never see a non-mannequin arm. when i bring it up, they usually agree that it's not necessary, but that their particular case of arm hair is so severe that it must be removed to keep the townspeople from drowning them.

and if i may second guess myself before i post, sometimes i fucking hate leg hair. not all the time, but i trim my own a couple times a year, not shaved, but with clippers. for some reason my leg hair feels alien to me on occasion. so i guess i can relate in some way to the body hair phobia.

i love hair / fuck hair

This kind of thing can only serve to heighten the already epidemic levels of body angst that young women (and men) experience. Then again, marketing campaigns to create a general state of self-loathing are nothing new.

For shame, Gillette.

holy fucking shit

my inner angry feminist (lol more like my outer) is fucking seething

i am not at all opposed to body hair removal, i have a pretty strong dislike of being hairy so i take care of dat shit, but it should be a personal choice, not something we are shamed into by ads that target fucking pre-teens with downy fuzz.

like oh my god that close up. THAT CLOSE UP.

my leg hair was like that for a long time and my mom was always like DONT SHAVE DONT DO IT. i love my mom. my hair is a bit darker and longer now but i still only shave my legs like once a year. and i shave my armpits maybe once every 2 months or so. hair is cool. no hair is cool too, but it just sucks that many women don't even think it's an option not to shave. i'm still not brave enough to show off my body hair in public though. usually shave if i'm going swimming or something.

but what if you are hit by a car and the medics come and have to cut your trousers off in the street and a crowd gather to laugh and grimace at your wolfed out legs?

The medics will say something like "this leg fur is very soft, it reminds me of the velvet upholstery on the sofa in my reading room" and the onlookers will nod in agreement.

I like a bit of peach fuzz. I'm not a big fan of thicker hair on a lady person's legs, but it's okay in other places.
