The production sounds really good / deep. The different parts are well brought IMO. the type of the music itself isn't much my kind but the fact I enjoyed it anyway might be a good point

(that's all about this sound you used as your main synth ; where does it come from ? I mean, this type of synth sound is characteristic of a genre but I can't really figure out which one. I'd like to understand why I've never liked this sound !...)

I'm glad you like it even though it's not really your style :) I'm not sure I fully understand your question though? Please elaborate :)

me writing in english take two

what I meant is I know the sound of the synth you're using as the main one in you track, but for some reason (which I can't figure out) I don't like this sound / type of sound.

So I was wondering / asking where this kind of sound comes from (maybe a particular musical genre, or a synth, like the acid sound comes pretty much from the 303 ? If I know where it comes from maybe I could understand why I dislike it ^^)

I hope I'm clear now

Aaah, alright! It's a classic dub techno sound effect and can be made from pretty much any sound your synth can create. You can track it all the way back to the 80s/early 90s in very early dub/dub techno tunes.

On the flip side, that synth sound I think Antape is referring to is actually one of my favourite synth sounds. The heavily filtered digisaw/reverb stab sound.

Same here, man. That and the sound of a cello.

I'm in love with this genre and this track in general. You kept the dub stab at a distance without letting it get too up front in the track, I really like that.

I trust you know the Danish artist Trentemøller? I'd call him the king of that genre/subgenre/whatever.

What about the two mixed together?

Oh shi--

Wasn't a big fan of the intro. Once it gets going its pretty decent ... reminds me 2562. Sounds polished. There is some clipping going on which is noticable in parts. Yeah I liked it.

Can you please tell me where the clipping happens? I hope it's a bounce-error :|

Very Trentemöllerish with a hint of Murcof sprinkled in. Is nice. Heavy on the low which was nice, but maybe a little bit overpowering, gave me earfatigue.

Thanks, man!

Yeah, the kick is a bit too much... I'll fix it :)

You can hear it when its mainly sub and beats. Its not bad but its noticable.
