i'd say it would be quite a task especially given the rareness of the early rephlex releases

Aphex or Rephlex releases?

heres my Aphex related releases:

The only thing i'm really missing is Analogue Bubblebath 5, I have most formats of all the other releases, vinyl, CD and some cassettes with lots of promos/white labels

Much respect, I hope to achieve a collection like that someday. But ah, the money... I only wonder what do those Lords of Acid CD's have to do with the Aphex collection?

Found out the other day through a mate that there is another person (besides the four mentioned on discogs) who has a copy of the caustic window LP. Used to work for Rephlex back in the day.

LOL, fuck me ha ha. I forgot to remove some of those, I used to have lots of different stuff on this account and then I decided to remove everything but Aphex related material to keep my stuff in order. I hadn't gotten around to double checking what I still did and didn't have from those releases because I don't have them where I live anymore, they are somewhere in storage I think, thanks for pointing that out tho, fixt. I'll have to clean through that crap someday no doubt. Was cool when Richard dropped Lords 'I Sit on Acid' in one of his more recent sets

Damn, that would be sick to have that backed up somewhere. I know I would dub me a copy, back it up several times, place the back-ups in different locations (so in case of natural disaster and what not, orange juice spillage, etc.) and then store the vinyl in a bank vault. Is that going a little overboard!? The only thing that would make me lose it is the end of the world, oh damn it is 2012... Fuck it, this release prolly sucks anyways

Disgruntled Rephlex employee with ultra rare material... maybe this stuff will see the light of day? That is a far strectch tho, and some overly positive hopes on my part

If you're thinking of Maf*phew, I am pretty sure he does not have a copy. There really were only 4 test pressings according to Mike P. Cylob, Grant, Richard and Mike are the only ones who have it.

Now, is it conceviable that there were more than just 4 test pressings done? Sure, but keep in mind that this was a double LP, so that would be 8 test pressings made in total, and in my experience, unless a lot are ordered for distribution as promos, usually 10 or 15 at the most is the minimum order for a test pressing.

I had forgotten Windowlicker was on cassette too - probably one of the rarest Aphex Twin cassettes, considering by 1999 cassette sales in stores were almost non-existant.

The only thing Phonic Boy needs now is the Warner Bros VHS promo tape - it has a special 'commerical' for the video/single. I had the video back on joyrex.com ages ago, and still have the tape...
