Guest ansgaria
According to a recent Facebook update by TDR, they are now... here. "WE ARE HERE." All it says. What does it mean? I don't know. They've always still sort of been there with Artwork and graphical design for selected artist, but perhaps this means that they're back in style/business. Whatever it means, I'm psyched. http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Designers-Republic/40856697213

mcbpete
hope so, we need more helvetica/arial with compact kerning I know you've said that with tongue firmly in cheek but I'm actually really happy about their return. Although they did have a tendency at times to go a little Helvetica heavy in the late 90's/early 2000s, they've done some amazing design work that [in my opinion] I don't think has been bettered. jules
hope so, we need more helvetica/arial with compact kerning but yes, they do get a lot of heat but i enjoy a lot of their designs and i still really love the whole quaristice identity. QBLA
hope so, we need more helvetica/arial with compact kerning but yes, they do get a lot of heat but i enjoy a lot of their designs and i still really love the whole quaristice identity. I've always loved the simplicity of quaristice. chaistic slide has been a favorite for a long time. I think the stuff they did from chaistic and on is timeless. stuff they did before looks dated. rev85
The Pop Will Eat Itself covers and Wip3out aesthetic haven't been bettered in my opinion. I used to pore over the PWEI covers for ages when I was a wee lad.

Rubin Farr
This whole post TDR comeback is still iffy IMO. A gallery dealer in Holland was working with Ian to sell prints of past artworks. I sent him my payment and 3 months later had to file a chargeback w my bank bc he fucked me. Supposedly TDR was having financial disputes w printers and publishers, so nothing ever materialized. YMMV
