Guest illfly mandog
I bought the nanokontrol 1 a couple of years ago. Helped me evolve as a composer and performer! Eventually the usb port gets tugged one too many times. ): no more kontrol. Go to the store today and pick up a nanokontrol 2. It was the same price as when i bought the first one new. It has one less slider/knob, tho. Get it home only to realize there is no scene function of any real kind. *makes fart sound...wat. Took away my heat! One thing i do like is the marker function. You can skip to markers you set through out your track. Nice if you wanna skip to a , say, drum part you are workin on, skip right to it and back to the begining of it easily. Still, get the 1 if you are ever interested. Does all but one function 2 does but with a few, in my opinion, more powerfull things. Also, for at least 20 less...wat. I wish they would just make a more sturdy version of the nanokontrol 1 instead of removing features.
Guest illfly mandog
NanoKontrol 2 will autolearn to the mixer if in ableton mode. Thats not so bad. The Track selection is supposed to be the "new" scene function. I can have different stuff mapped to the same knob thoughout tracks and not change previous settings but i cant have multiple uses within, say fm8. Thats what i need. I need to be able to smoke a spliff and just tweek the fuck outta sum fmz. Now i must choose my mappings wisely.
