Searching for a track thats been in my head for years...

Hi,

Theres a track i heard a while ago, which i just cant find the name for. Its really hard to describe how the sound is, im not even sure if its from aphex (but it probably is)

So you hear a melody in the background with a female computed voice singing along. The voice sounds really similar to the one in parallel stripes.

But its a lot faster with a more fleshed out melody. I think parallel stripes might be a remix of it or vice versa.

Can anyone help me with finding the tracks name?

It should be from somewhere around the 90s

But oh well, i slowly realise that its probably not an aphex track. Back then it really seemed so. Its definetely from warp records though

Not much to go on but any chance it could be a Seefeel track? From their album 'Succour'. Right time period and on Warp.

The album has quite a SAWish feel at times with quite a bit of sampled female vocal throughout.

Check out the vocal on "Fracture".

Nice finds, everyone!

But i think i found it thanks to you.

It was a Seefeel Remix from the

Warp 10+3 Remixes CD

Seefeel - When Face was Face

There might be another version of it though...

I envy you. I'm still looking for this song Lunatic Calm played at a Crystal Method concert in like 1996, where they just kinda said "Rock the Beat" over and over and wailed on a 303, even though it probably wasn't even a real song and Lunatic Calm sucked major ass.

But more seriously, in the event this thread has some sort of magic to it, if anyone can find the Sunny Delight commercial where the sun guy jumps off the carton and the family seated around the breakfast table freaks the fuck out and runs away, I would be forever in your debt, until I watch it and find out it was stupid and not even funny, at which point I'll cease being grateful and just sort of harbor a smoldering disdain towards your general person, but you don't know who I am so no worries.

Don't call it a comeback...not because I've been here for years, although I have, but because I haven't done shit the entire time.
